Initially, the 12-year-old girl alleged that an intruder had murdered her father, but she later admitted to the stabbing, as confirmed by the police. Prior to this month, law enforcement had received multiple calls to the residence. The girl was apprehended and placed in the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of murder following Waldie’s death.
