Ford’s 2024 Recall List Revealed! Check Now!

Ford has issued several recalls for various models due to safety concerns. In one instance, the 2022-2023 Maverick Hybrid pickups were recalled because the instrument panel cluster may not properly illuminate warning lights or gauges, potentially increasing the risk of a crash. This affected approximately 62,813 units.

Another recall involved the 2023-2024 Bronco 4-door vehicles, where Ford identified a child safety lock malfunction that could allow the left-side rear door to be opened from the inside even when the child safety lock is activated. This issue could lead to injuries and affected around 9,847 units.

Furthermore, certain 2021-2024 Bronco Sport and 2022-2023 Maverick vehicles were recalled due to a potential loss of drive power from a low battery charge. The body and power train control modules may fail to detect the battery change, resulting in the loss of hazard lights or drive power, posing a crash risk for the approximately 456,565 affected units.

Additionally, specific 2020-2024 Lincoln Aviator vehicles were recalled because electromagnetic interference with a cell phone in the vehicle could cause the rearview camera image to flicker or distort, reducing the driver’s visibility and increasing crash risk for around 109,283 units.

Other recalls included certain 2024 Mustang vehicles for a clutch pressure line that may not be properly secured, certain 2023-2024 Transit vehicles for a loss of power steering assist, and certain 2021-2022 Bronco, F-150, Edge, Explorer, Lincoln Nautilus, and Lincoln Aviator vehicles for engine intake valve issues that could lead to engine failure and drive power loss.

Lastly, specific 2022-2024 Ford Maverick vehicles equipped with a Connected Touch Radio were recalled due to rearview camera image freezing concerns. Ford has taken these measures to address potential safety hazards and minimize risks for affected units.

Reverse. A report warned that if a rearview camera malfunctions, it could impair a driver’s visibility, potentially escalating the likelihood of an accident. The report cited a significant number of units possibly impacted: 273,701.

On November 8, Ford issued a recall related to absent air bag warning labels. The recall affected specific models ranging from 2020 to 2025, including the Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, Escape, Lincoln Corsair, as well as F-150 trucks from 2018 to 2024, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator SUVs. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) report, the absence of the air bag warning label on the dashboard was identified as the issue. The potential number of units affected was noted at 27,678.

Subsequently, on December 19, Ford initiated a recall due to potential steering loss in certain 2023-2024 F-150 Lightning BEV vehicles. The NHTSA recall report highlighted that the front upper control arm ball joint nut might not have been adequately secured by the manufacturer. The report emphasized that a detached control arm could result in a loss of steering and vehicle control, heightening the risk of an accident. The potential number of impacted units stood at 11,922.
