Bevo Barred from CFP Sidelines!

The Peach Bowl is scheduled to be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, which recently served as the venue for the SEC Championship game featuring Texas and Georgia. Notably, there was an absence of Bevo, the beloved mascot of the Texas Longhorns, at this event. Bevo’s exclusion can be traced back to a previous encounter with Uga, the mascot of the Georgia Bulldogs. In a regrettable incident during the Sugar Bowl, Bevo broke through a barricade, posing a threat to Uga and spectators at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Texas enters the upcoming game following a commendable 38-24 victory over Clemson in the first round. Playing a pivotal role in this triumph was quarterback Ewers, who completed 17 of 24 passes for 202 yards, including a touchdown. Additionally, running backs Jaydon Blue and Quintrevion Wisner both surpassed the 100-yard mark on the ground.
