CBS announced that a new soap opera called ‘The Gates,’ featuring a predominantly Black cast, would replace ‘The Talk’ starting in January. Developed by CBS Studios and the NAACP, the show will follow the lives of a wealthy Black family in a gated community, marking a milestone in daytime television.
