A man has been taken into custody following a hit-and-run incident that left a 15-year-old boy with “significant injuries.” The teenager was struck by a car on Wellington Road, Rhyl, Denbighshire, on Saturday evening, as reported by North Wales Police. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the victim are not believed to be life-altering or life-threatening, according to the authorities.
The individual was apprehended in connection with the accident, and the vehicle supposedly involved has been recovered. Sgt Daniel Rees of the Roads Crime Unit is seeking any witnesses, as well as CCTV or dashcam footage of a blue Suzuki S Cross car that was observed in the vicinity.
