British Influencer Ashley Surcombe Faces Health Setback; GoFundMe Created for Medical Bills

British influencer Ashley Surcombe, 29, was hospitalized in Seoul, South Korea after being found unconscious in her apartment on March 24. She was initially treated in the ICU for severe dehydration and multiple organ damage before being moved to a standard hospital room on March 31. However, she was transferred back to the ICU after developing pneumonia, leading to a collapsed lung.

Ashley’s sister, Kat, shared that there were some positive signs in her treatment, with her lung being re-inflated and doctors removing mucus. Despite this, Ashley’s condition worsened, requiring her to be placed on a ventilator. The family remains hopeful for her recovery but is facing challenges due to the setback.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist with Ashley’s medical expenses as her family works towards getting her home. Her mother, Karen, provided updates on Ashley’s condition and mentioned that their priority is to ensure she is fit to fly back home, which could take at least another two weeks.
