Trump’s Inauguration Day Revealed!

Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the President of the United States on January 20, marking the beginning of his second term in office and concluding a remarkable political comeback. Inauguration Day typically involves ceremonial events to symbolize the transition of power from one president to the next. However, Trump has also announced plans to sign multiple executive orders on his first day in office, covering topics such as border security and energy production.

The inauguration ceremony will take place at 12 p.m. ET in front of the U.S. Capitol, where Trump will be sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts. Following the oath, Trump will deliver his inaugural address, aiming for a message of unity and optimism. Unlike his previous inauguration speech, which painted a bleak picture of the country, Trump intends to inspire hope with his upcoming address.

Former President Joe Biden is expected to attend the ceremony to witness the peaceful transfer of power, a gesture that Trump did not extend to him four years ago. Thousands of spectators are anticipated to gather on the National Mall to watch the proceedings on large screens.

Trump has extended invitations to several foreign leaders to attend the ceremony, breaking from tradition. Among those invited are Argentina’s President Javier Milei and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Notably, Chinese President Xi Jinping is unlikely to be present despite receiving an invitation.

After the inauguration, Trump will participate in a parade down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House, joined by military regiments, marching bands, and other groups. Following the parade, Trump plans to sign numerous executive orders aimed at reversing Biden administration policies, including measures related to immigration and energy production.

In the evening, various inaugural galas will be held in Washington, possibly attended by Trump. The events are funded by Trump’s inauguration committee, with notable donations from companies like Amazon and Meta Platforms. Additionally, the committee is chaired by Steve Witkoff and Kelly Loeffler, close allies of Trump.

In 2017, the inauguration celebrations took place. This information was reported by James Oliphant and edited by Colleen Jenkins and Lisa Shumaker.
