The Special Operations Division of the Fairfax County Police was also on-site to assist. The CIA confirmed an ongoing incident outside their headquarters around 1:24 pm.
There were no reports of shots fired, but some local news stations mentioned an armed individual in a mental health crisis in the area earlier. The incident occurred just a day after the Trump administration released newly unredacted files on the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
