Ted Lasso Seeks New Actor to Play Jason Sudeikis’ Son!

Apple TV+ has announced the renewal of “Ted Lasso” for Season 4 and is now in search of a new young actor to portray Henry, the soccer enthusiast son of AFC Richmond’s head coach. Warner Bros. Television did not provide a comment in response to Variety’s inquiry.

Gus Turner portrayed Ted Lasso’s son in Seasons 1-3, primarily seen during their FaceTime conversations while Ted was coaching abroad and Henry resided in Kansas with his mother. However, Henry did visit London multiple times to see his father, including once with his mother and another time alone after their separation. Henry warmly welcomed Ted back to Kansas in the Season 3 finale.

Jason Sudeikis is confirmed to reprise his role as Ted Lasso in Season 4. Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift’s return is pending confirmation. Jack Burditt, under his Apple TV+ deal, joins as an executive producer alongside Sudeikis and others. Goldstein will write and executive produce the season with Leanne Bowen.

Bill Lawrence’s Doozer Productions, in partnership with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television, produces the series. Deadline broke the news of the casting changes.
