Cam Heyward frustrated waiting on Aaron Rodgers Steelers decision!

Cameron Heyward actively advocated for veteran quarterback Russell Wilson to join the Pittsburgh Steelers last offseason, but he is not extending the same effort for Aaron Rodgers. The four-time All-Pro defensive lineman shared on his “Not Just Football” podcast that he is not going out of his way to persuade Rodgers to come to Pittsburgh. When asked if he would accompany Rodgers on one of his “darkness retreats” to entice him to join the team, Heyward declined, emphasizing that the decision to be a Steelers player should be straightforward. Heyward expressed his readiness to move on from discussing the quarterback situation and focus on playing football. He acknowledged Mason Rudolph, the only quarterback currently signed to the Steelers roster, praising the decision to retain him. As for Rodgers, he remains a free agent with reported interest in joining the Vikings, though a resolution to his situation may take some time to materialize. Heyward emphasized his desire to shift the conversation away from Rodgers and towards preparing for the upcoming season.
