Former Bachelor Star Sean Lowe Hospitalized After Rescue Dog Incident!

Sean Lowe, known for his appearance on The Bachelor, recently faced a frightening ordeal involving his rescue boxer. The incident occurred when the dog, named Moose, attacked him multiple times after a barbecue at his home. Lowe shared the harrowing experience in a social media video, as he believed people might notice his injuries and be curious about what had happened to their family pet.

During the initial attack, Moose bit Lowe’s finger aggressively while he was trying to control the smoke alarm triggered by barbecue smoke. Despite Lowe’s attempts to stop the dog, Moose continued to bite and became increasingly aggressive, eventually attacking him and causing serious injuries. Lowe managed to remove the dog from the house, only for Moose to return for a second attack.

Lowe, who considered Moose his own dog, expressed confusion over the violent behavior, given their bond and daily interactions. Following the second attack, which resulted in deep cuts on his arm, Lowe sought emergency medical attention and received stitches in multiple places. Realizing the danger Moose posed, Lowe made the difficult decision to find a new home for the dog, contacting animal shelters for assistance.

The incident left Lowe shaken and contemplating the best course of action for his family’s safety.

“Lowe recalled the harrowing encounter with the dog, stating, “Having to go through it again less than 12 hours later, with that dog charging straight at you, is a sensation I hope to never experience again.” Despite the intense fear, Lowe managed to subdue the dog and keep it under control until the authorities arrived. He believes the dog posed a serious threat to his family members.

Reflecting on the incident, Lowe described gripping the dog’s collar while feeling the pain of his injured arm. He expressed the sense of fighting for his life, fearing that the dog would attack again if given the chance. Following a visit to the hospital, Lowe pondered why the usually docile Moose reacted aggressively to the sound of a smoke alarm, a puzzling behavior considering Moose had previously been gentle enough to sleep beside his children.

Lowe expressed gratitude for the outcome, acknowledging Moose as a beloved pet despite the traumatic event. “He was a really good dog, and we miss him,” Lowe said.
