Exclusive First Photo of Hospitalized Pope Francis Revealed!

A photograph released by the Vatican Press Office depicts the pope engaged in prayer – marking the first public image since his hospitalization on Feb. 14 due to bronchitis, which later progressed into double pneumonia. Earlier in the day, the pope meditated on the challenges faced during times of illness. “While our bodies may be frail, even in this state, nothing can deter us from loving, praying, serving, and shining as beacons of hope for each other through faith,” Pope Francis stated in remarks prepared for the weekly Angelus. He also conveyed gratitude to those who have offered prayers for his recovery, particularly highlighting the support from children, who have gathered outside the hospital to convey their well-wishes. “The Pope holds you dear,” Francis affirmed. Last week, medical professionals confirmed that the 88-year-old pope is no longer at immediate risk from the double pneumonia. Nonetheless, the duration of his hospital stay remains uncertain.
