He also conveyed gratitude to those who have offered prayers for his recovery, particularly highlighting the support from children, who have gathered outside the hospital to convey their well-wishes. “The Pope holds you dear,” Francis affirmed. Last week, medical professionals confirmed that the 88-year-old pope is no longer at immediate risk from the double pneumonia. Nonetheless, the duration of his hospital stay remains uncertain.
