49ers Re-Sign FB Kyle Juszczyk in 2025 Free Agency for Reported $8M – What’s Next!

Kyle Juszczyk has returned to the San Francisco 49ers shortly after being released. The 33-year-old fullback has reportedly agreed to a two-year, $8 million contract, as per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Juszczyk chose to accept less money to rejoin San Francisco, where he has spent the past eight seasons, over a higher offer from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In a recent tweet, Juszczyk shared his excitement about the return, and his wife, Kristin, also expressed their joy of remaining in the Bay Area on Instagram. They reflected on their time in the Bay, emphasizing the strong bonds they have formed and the memorable experiences they have had there.

Last year, 49ers general manager John Lynch had asked Juszczyk to restructure his contract, which he agreed to, creating salary-cap space for the team. Despite the initial disappointment of taking a pay cut, Juszczyk’s love for the team and the community helped him make the decision to stay.

Known for his accomplishments as a nine-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro, Juszczyk has contributed significantly to the team with both rushing and receiving touchdowns throughout his career. Originally drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2013, the fullback’s dedication and talent have made him a valuable asset to the 49ers.
