Shocking Livestream Murder! YouTuber Stabbed to Death Recognizing Building Behind

Police in Japan have arrested a suspect in connection with the stabbing death of a 22-year-old YouTuber who was attacked during a livestream in Tokyo. Kenichi Takano, 42, was taken into custody for the murder of Airi Sato, according to reports from Kyodo News. Sato was livestreaming in Shinjuku Ward when the attack took place on March 11. Witnesses heard her screams for help before the connection was lost. The suspect allegedly tracked down Sato using landmarks visible in her livestream. Police do not believe it was a random attack. It was revealed that the victim and the suspect had a previous dispute over money. Takano traveled from Oyama to Tokyo after learning about Sato’s livestream. He was found with two knives and Sato was stabbed multiple times in the neck and chest. Takano claimed he did not intend to kill Sato.
