Despite her objections to the storyline, the writers defended it, citing it as funny and based on real-life experiences with fancy cheeses in France.
Davis expressed her distaste for the scene, stating that she did not enjoy filming it and found it uncomfortable. She also humorously referenced another challenging scene from the show’s movie adaptation, thanking the series creator, Michael Patrick King, for putting her through such experiences.
