Octomom Natalie ‘Nadya’ Suleman is prepared to share her story in the docuseries “Confessions of Octomom.” In the series, Suleman, a mother of 14, delves into her journey with in vitro fertilization and the intense moments in the delivery room. Despite initially being informed she was carrying only seven children, Suleman trusted her instincts and insisted there was an eighth child.
Mentioning her “mother’s intuition,” Suleman recalls questioning the ultrasound technician multiple times about the possibility of an additional baby. Eventually, during the birth, a hidden eighth baby, later identified as Baby H, was discovered. Reflecting on the surprising turn of events, Suleman acknowledges that with a higher number of children, accurately counting becomes more challenging.
Suleman, who experienced a relatively complication-free pregnancy with the octuplets, remained active until an incident in the kitchen resulted in broken ribs. Despite the pain, she managed to call for help, demonstrating her resilience during the challenging period.
Known for giving birth to the world’s first surviving octuplets 16 years ago, Suleman is reintroducing herself to the public eye with the support of her now 16-year-old octuplets. Through a new Lifetime film and docuseries, she is revisiting her remarkable and tumultuous journey, involving her eight younger and six older children born through IVF. Suleman expressed her commitment to reclaiming her narrative and protecting her children as they venture into adulthood.
“Tomom” made its debut on March 8, followed by “Confessions of Octomom” on March 10, both airing on Lifetime. For more information, you can refer to the original article featured on People’s platform.
