Man Arrested for Daring Stunt atop Big Ben’s Tower!

“A man has been charged after climbing Big Ben’s Elizabeth Tower at the Palace of Westminster in central London. Daniel Day, 29, from Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, has been charged with causing a public nuisance and trespassing on a protected site. He was remanded in custody to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court. Emergency services responded to reports of a protester climbing the tower with a Palestinian flag. The man was eventually brought down in a cherry picker after 16 hours on the ledge. The incident led to road closures and cancellations of tours in the area. A small group of supporters gathered nearby showing their support.”
