Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford Shoot the S While Filming 1923 Ex!

Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford were in attendance at the Los Angeles Premiere of Paramount+’s “1923” season 1. The vibes were nothing but positive whenever the two stars, who play couple Jacob and Cara Dutton in the Yellowstone prequel series 1923, were on set. They shared with PEOPLE that they always had a great time together and revealed their off-camera dynamic. Mirren, 79, mentioned that they would spend time together chatting and hanging out on set, rather than retreating to their trailers. Ford, 82, agreed that they had a good time both on and off set.

Mirren described Ford as a down-to-earth person who attracted others with his charm, while Ford praised Mirren for her ability to hang out with the guys and be a cool lady. In season 2 of 1923, their characters face various challenges as they try to defend their ranch, but they believe the heart of the story lies in the partnership between Jacob and Cara. They both appreciated the depth of their characters’ relationship and how it portrays a different aspect of love rarely seen on screen.

New episodes of 1923 season 2 premiere on Sundays on Paramount+.
