I must confess that I don’t indulge in fast food burgers frequently due to their inconsistent quality, except when it comes to Shake Shack. Whenever I find myself in need of a quick meal while out and about, Shake Shack always impresses me with its consistently delicious offerings. And it seems I’m not alone in my admiration for this fast food joint. In a recent survey conducted by Allrecipes, four professional chefs voted Shake Shack and In-N-Out Burger as the top choices for the best fast food burgers.
My most recent visit to Shake Shack was during the holiday shopping frenzy in December, and the burger I ordered was just as delightful as I had remembered. However, the bill came as a bit of a shock to me. For a single cheeseburger, fries, and a small fountain drink, the total came to about $17. Despite being well informed about the rising menu prices, I couldn’t help but be taken aback by the cost. Nevertheless, the meal was undeniably tasty, with the fries being hot and crispy, and the free soda refill was a nice bonus.
The news of Shake Shack introducing its very first combo meal caught my attention, and I couldn’t help but wonder if this new offer would be easier on the wallet during my next visit. If I do decide to swing by Shake Shack again, it looks like I won’t be opting for a burger this time around.
Introducing Shake Shack’s Latest $9.99 Combo Meal
In what they’re calling their “ultimate bargain,” Shake Shack is rolling out a $9.99 combo meal that includes a Chicken Shack sandwich, a small soda, and a serving of classic fries. The Chicken Shack is Shake Shack’s take on the classic crispy chicken sandwich, featuring a crispy white-meat chicken breast served on a bed of lettuce, pickles, and buttermilk herb mayo, all nestled between a toasted potato bun.
To avail of this special offer, simply place your order at an in-store kiosk or through the Shack App or website. Add the Chicken Shack, small soda, and classic fries to your order, and then input the code CHICKEN (in all caps) at the checkout. Your total will automatically adjust to the promo price of $9.99.
This exciting promotion is valid from March 3 to March 15 at participating Shake Shack outlets and cannot be used for orders placed through third-party delivery apps. It’s worth noting that each order is limited to one deal per customer.
In my local Shake Shack, the same combo would typically cost $16.47 before tax, making this deal a truly fantastic steal in my opinion.
