“Meghan Markle’s Mysterious New Lifestyle Project Unveiled”

The actress-turned-duchess’s website, The Tig, was one of Markle’s many passion projects, where she documented her travels and favorite recipes. Unfortunately, the site was taken down once she married Prince Harry, but ever since the couple left England for L.A., the mom of two has been making strides to get back to her roots. First, with a podcast, then with her jam company. Now, on the heels of her new show “With Love, Meghan,” airing on Netflix on March 4, Meghan Markle is launching a home brand, but details surrounding the venture are still limited.
On February 18, Markle took to Instagram to announce American Riviera was being rebranded to As Ever, a business she created in 2022 and recently partnered with Netflix to bring to fruition. The redirection was inspired by a feeling of limitation. “Last year, I thought, ‘American Riviera,’ that sounds like such a great name! It’s my neighborhood, it’s a nickname for Santa Barbara,” Markle explains in the video. “But it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area.” Now, As Ever will span the lifestyle gamut and represent all of Markle’s interests from cooking to gardening to entertaining.
We’re still waiting for more details regarding the merchandise we can expect from As Ever, but Markle reassured followers that fruit preserves would be included in the inventory. “I think we’re all clear by now that jam is my jam,” she teased. According to trademark serial number 98748479 that was filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, jam isn’t the only thing As Ever will carry. Here’s just a sampling of what we could expect:
– Spreads like honey butter, jellies, jams, marmalades, and fruit preserves
– Tableware and tablescape goods, including table linens, and serveware
– Home furnishings and decor, home goods, and home accessories
– Skincare, cosmetics, and fragrances
– Cookbooks and recipe books
– Stationery paper, envelopes, and letter openers
– Tableware such as knives, forks, and spoons
– Garden tools like hand spades, garden scissors, manual clippers, hand-powered cultivators for gardening, pruning shears, pruning scissors, pruning knives, and gardening tools for kids.
In launching As Ever, Markle joins a list of celebrities who’ve dipped their toes in the home and foods space. Ellen DeGeneres has ED, Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James expanded from clothing to decor, and the appliance, furniture, and accessories brand Beautiful by Drew Barrymore seems to be everywhere right
