The U.S. Air Force has chosen Montrose Environmental Group (NYSE: MEG) for a substantial $1.5 billion Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) aimed at supporting environmental initiatives worldwide. Teaming up with Tanaq Environmental, an Alaska Native Corporation and a small disadvantaged business, Montrose will concentrate on remediating contaminants, particularly PFAS, as well as providing environmental planning and support services for the next ten years. Among multiple companies awarded under this contract, Montrose will be entitled to a share of the $1.5 billion. As no purchase orders have been issued yet, this contract will have no impact on Montrose’s financial forecast for 2025.
