As per the information provided by authorities on the same day, a 61-year-old woman recounted her encounter with the couple, who supposedly possessed “virtual credentials” affirming their roots in Texas, as she had observed that they had rented one of the units in the building. The woman apparently attempted to contact the couple several times by knocking on their door in order to inform them about a necessary repair for a water meter leak, yet unfortunately received no reply. Subsequently, she took the decision to enter the apartment in question, only to stumble upon the couple in an unconscious state, prompting her to urgently contact the police for assistance. Upon the arrival of paramedics at the scene, the couple was identified as a 35-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, their demise shrouded in mystery as the exact cause of their untimely passing remains undisclosed at present. In light of this tragic occurrence, a Public Ministry officer affiliated with the Mexican Attorney General’s Office has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the couple’s inexplicable demise. As the situation continues to unfold, it is advised to stay tuned for any further updates on this developing story.
