Costco’s Newest Indulgent Dessert Creations Bring Joy to Fans

Ah, another glorious day beckoning us to make a detour to the irresistible bakery aisle at Costco. How can we resist such temptation? From the divine tiramisu cheesecake to the almond croissants hailed as sheer perfection by fans, Costco consistently elevates the game when it comes to delectable sweet treats. And the recent addition to their lineup of baked goods is no exception.

During my most recent visit to Costco, I stumbled upon the latest crave-worthy offering: the Kirkland Signature double chocolate cookies. As a devoted chocolate lover, there was simply no way I could walk away without snagging a 24-count package of these chocolatey delights. Intent on savoring just one cookie each with my husband before stashing the rest in the freezer, I made a promise to myself as I loaded them into my car. Alas, in less than a day since bringing them home, more cookies have mysteriously disappeared than I’d care to admit.

Soft, chewy, and luxuriously rich, these decadent treats boast a chocolate cookie base studded with generous chunks of additional chocolate. While some versions I’ve seen online are adorned with a dusting of powdered sugar, the ones at my local Costco were unadorned. Yet, even without the powdered sugar, I found them to be simply delightful.

My husband echoed my sentiments, describing them as “delicious” and particularly emphasizing their soft and chewy texture. Costco patrons on social media are raving about these new offerings, proclaiming them to be “soo good” and possibly even “the best cookie yet” from the store.

If you manage to get your hands on a package of 24 double chocolate cookies, be prepared to part with $10.99. Do be mindful not to confuse them with the recent addition to the food court menu: a substantial “double chocolate cookie” served warm.

Looks like we’ll be making a return trip to the bakery section soon!
