Startled Arrest Occurs Moments Prior to International Flight Departure

A startling arrest took place at Boston’s Logan International Airport late Thursday evening, just as a flight bound for Paris was preparing for departure. According to authorities, a member of the flight crew was apprehended on a warrant issued in another state.

Jeremy Gudorf, a 33-year-old resident of Ohio, was taken into custody by Massachusetts State Police on Thursday night. The arrest was made in response to a call for assistance from U.S. Customs and Border Protection at 8:40 p.m. that same evening, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the state police.

During a routine screening of the passenger manifest for the Boston-to-Paris flight, CBP officials flagged an active warrant from North Carolina against one of the crew members, leading to the crew member, identified as Gudorf, being detained. State troopers then assumed custody of Gudorf and transported him to the police barracks for processing.

The specific charges facing Gudorf were not disclosed by Massachusetts State Police, nor was the airline for which he was employed revealed. Gudorf is scheduled to make an appearance in East Boston District Court on Friday. At this time, it remains unclear whether Gudorf has legal representation.
