Prepare for the Glitz and Glamour Wicked and Conclave Dominate 2025 Critics Choice Awards Film Nomin

The critics have shared their opinions on the top movies of the year. The nominations for the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards were announced on Thursday, December 12. Leading the pack with 11 nominations each are Conclave and Wicked. Following closely behind are Dune: Part Two and Emilia Perez with 10 nods each. These four movies, along with A Complete Unknown, Anora, The Brutalist, Nickel Boys, Sing Sing, and The Substance, are all in the running for the best picture award at the upcoming ceremony.

In the television category, FX’s Shōgun received the most nominations with six, trailed by Abbott Elementary, Disclaimer, Hacks, The Diplomat, The Penguin, and What We Do in the Shadows with four nominations each.

The 2025 Critics Choice Awards ceremony will be hosted by Chelsea Handler and will be broadcast live on E! on Sunday, January 12 from 7 to 10 p.m. ET. The event will be held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and can be streamed the following day on Peacock.
