2. Stainless steel and cast-iron cookware have replaced nonstick cookware.
3. Non-bleached parchment paper has replaced aluminum foil.
4. Glass containers and paper bags have replaced plastic containers and sandwich bags.
The cancer survivor steers clear of nonstick cookware, choosing stainless steel and cast-iron options instead.
Patidar considers avoiding plastics as much as possible to be a straightforward change.
5. “Delicious” essential oils have replaced scented candles.
6. Glass and stainless steel containers have replaced plastic water bottles.
7. Wood cutting boards have replaced plastic cutting boards.

9. Non-toxic cleaning products have replaced toxic kitchen cleaning supplies.
“It has truly made a significant difference,” she remarked.
“I make a conscious effort to reject plastics whenever I can,” the cancer survivor shared.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Patidar, a seven-year cancer survivor, expressed her realization of the importance of looking at health holistically.
“While nutrition and exercise are crucial, it is equally important to consider elements like our surroundings and daily product usage,” she emphasized.

“Our decisions, including the cleaning products we choose, the quality of indoor air and water, and the type of cookware we opt for, all play a vital role in our overall well-being,” she added.
She pointed out that seemingly innocuous items like plastic water bottles and storage containers can impact our broader health.
Patidar shared her video on Instagram in October 2024. “Making even a single change from this list,” she advised, “can improve your overall health and contribute to better cancer prevention.”
She believes that these modifications, alongside the switch to safer cookware, have reduced her exposure to harmful chemicals and plastic particles.

By focusing on “quality fats and oils” over processed foods, Patidar has managed to reduce chronic inflammation, a crucial aspect of cancer prevention and recovery, she reported.
“Furthermore, the switch from candles to essential oils has enhanced the quality of my indoor air,” she stated. “The convenience of toxic products often comes with a hefty price.”
“Even a small change from this list can enhance your overall health and move you towards improved cancer prevention,” she concluded.
