Now, as they set their sights on surpassing this achievement in 2025, they have unveiled five enticing new pasta sauce flavors to tantalize taste buds. Recently, the company proudly announced the introduction of their latest flavors, which include Sweet Pepper & Onion, Mediterranean Marinara, Black Truffle Alfredo, Mac & Cheese Alfredo, and Lemon Pepper Alfredo.
Crafted by renowned chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi, each new flavor embodies their mission to reinterpret classic Italian-American cuisine through a modern culinary perspective. Carbone expressed his excitement about the expanding family of Carbone Fine Food sauces, noting that with each new flavor introduced, they have the pleasure of delighting new taste buds and elevating dining experiences.
The development process for these new flavors was no easy task, with the team conducting 37 rounds of testing to perfect each recipe. While some sauces were instant hits, others required more time and experimentation to reach their final form. Notably, Carbone’s Mac & Cheese Alfredo sauce features aged white cheddar to deliver an explosion of flavor.
Among the new offerings is the Sweet Pepper and Onion sauce, described as a delightful blend of caramelized roasted peppers, sautéed onions, Italian tomatoes, and rosemary. The Mediterranean Marinara captures the essence of Southern Italy with its savory combination of black olives, capers, Italian tomatoes, garlic, and fresh herbs. Additionally, the Black Truffle Alfredo offers a rich and creamy fusion of Parmesan, Romano Cheeses, and luxurious black truffles.
Completing the lineup are the Mac & Cheese Alfredo, featuring a rich concoction of aged white cheddar cheese, cream, butter, and spices, and the Lemon Pepper Alfredo, a creamy blend of Parmesan, Romano cheeses, cracked black pepper, and zesty fresh lemon.
