Officials of the Gardaí (Irish police) have confirmed the tragic death of a male individual in his 60s as a result of a violent assault that took place in Malahide, County Dublin. The incident occurred on Gainsborough Lawn at approximately 08:30 local time. Upon discovery, the victim was found unconscious and sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Law enforcement authorities have taken into custody a male suspect in his late 20s, who is presently detained at a Dublin garda station for questioning.
