Back in 2017, the Leeper family relocated to Somers, Montana, where their eldest son, Graham, now 11 years old, actively participates in football, baseball, and basketball. Described by his parents as the most reserved of the Leeper siblings, which include a 6-year-old, a 13-year-old, and a 16-year-old, Graham was once a quiet child who didn’t speak much during his early years. His parents would humorously suggest that the sudden fame of being dubbed the “Andy Reid Baby” must have caught him off guard.
Graham’s older brother enjoys teasing the kids in their town to look up the legendary Andy Reid Baby. Graham chuckles, “They’re just, like, kind of surprised that I’m famous. And if I tell them, sometimes they’re like, ‘There’s no way.'” Reflecting on his iconic costume nearly twelve years later, Graham appreciates the attention to detail. He remarks, “It’s pretty funny how they got all the mustache and all this stuff really close to what it looks like.” However, his dad suspects that as Graham grows older, he may not cherish the resemblance as much. “We said, ‘That’s gonna definitely come back to haunt you on senior night,'” B.J. jokes. “When everybody’s showing their baby pictures, you know which one we’re going to use.”
Remaining loyal to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Leepers continue to support the team. Graham’s current favorite player is running back Isiah Pacheco, as they both proudly wear the No. 10 jersey on the field. B.J. recently treated his eldest son to his first Chiefs game for his 16th birthday, and Graham hopes for a similar experience. If he ever crosses paths with his former doppelganger, Graham expresses a desire to snap a photo together. He eagerly anticipates watching the Super Bowl with his family and fellow Chiefs enthusiasts in Montana, where they plan to enjoy Boulevard beer, a beloved Kansas City tradition, although strictly for the adults.
“I’m predicting,” confidently states the Andy Reid Baby, “that the Chiefs will secure the victory with a field goal.” For more information, contact Sean Gregory at sean.gregory@time.com.
