Allegations of Assault by Brothers Revealed by Courageous Women

NBC News has obtained videos through a public records request in which three women recount their accusations of rape and sexual assault involving luxury real estate personality Oren Alexander and his twin brother, Alon. The women provided their statements to Miami Beach police last fall, just before the arrests of the men, as indicated by the time stamp on the video. In the video, the women’s faces were blurred by local law enforcement as they described the allegations of sexual assault. The footage, totaling nine hours, also includes body camera recordings from the men’s arrests linked to state and federal cases in South Florida and New York.

State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle brought forth felony sexual battery charges in December against the twins and Ohad Fisherman for three separate incidents involving three different women. Oren faces charges related to alleged incidents in 2016, 2017, and 2021, while Alon and Fisherman were charged in connection with an alleged 2016 incident. Additionally, the twins and their older brother, Tal Alexander, 38, faced federal charges in New York, accused of drugging and assaulting “dozens of victims” as part of a sex trafficking operation spanning multiple years, according to federal prosecutors.

Oren and Alon Alexander have pleaded not guilty to the charges in Florida. The Alexander brothers have not entered pleas in the federal case, with their attorneys denying the allegations. Online records do not confirm whether Fisherman has entered a plea in the Florida case, and his attorney has not responded to requests for comment.

In a statement released on Thursday, lawyers representing the Alexander brothers refuted the allegations made by the women in the police videos. The attorneys, Edward O’Donnell IV and Joel Denaro, declared that the accusations were baseless and would be discredited during the trial, claiming they possessed evidence to support their defense. They emphasized that the women’s statements were made years after the alleged incidents took place.

One of the women described in the video stated that in 2016, Alon invited her to his Miami condo under the pretense of a barbecue, but upon arrival, only he, Oren, and Fisherman were present. She alleged that Fisherman restrained her on the bed while the twins deliberated on who would assault her first. During the recorded statement, the woman recounted the brothers asking each other, “Do you want to go first?” Despite her pleas and tears, the assault took place, following which the brothers instructed her to shower and keep the encounter secret, instilling fear in her.

Another woman shared in her recorded statement to the police that in 2017, Oren invited her to his residence, where she was offered a glass of wine and later led to a bedroom by Oren. She expressed feeling incapacitated and unable to resist as she was raped. The woman described feeling a loss of control over her body and a sense of powerlessness during the ordeal.

He assaulted her following an invitation to his home along with a group of people. “As I tried to pull away, he became more forceful, intensifying his kisses and grabbing me tightly. He forcefully tore off the top of my dress,” she recounted in the video. “He then pushed me onto his bed, and I lay there frozen, in a state of shock, while he climbed on top of me and held me down with his knees.” Attorneys representing Oren, Alon, and Tal Alexander in the federal cases did not promptly respond to a request for comment. The brothers are currently detained in federal custody awaiting trial.
