Undercover Operation Exposes US Sanctions Evasion Network Shipping Iranian Oil to China!

Global probe reveals clandestine network operations.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. Department of Treasury has taken action by imposing sanctions on a network consisting of over a dozen individuals and entities believed to be complicit in orchestrating the transport of millions of barrels of Iranian oil to China. The Office of Foreign Assets Control within the Department of Treasury has targeted multiple individuals and companies based in China, India, and the United Arab Emirates. The sanctioned entities include Iranian and Indian nationals, crew management firms, and a fleet of ships.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent emphasized the Iranian regime’s persistent efforts to utilize oil revenues for advancing its nuclear program, manufacturing ballistic missiles and drones, and backing regional terrorist organizations. During his confirmation hearing, Bessent criticized the sanctions strategy of the Biden administration, advocating for a more robust approach, particularly against Iranian and Russian entities involved in the oil industry.
State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce, in a statement released on Thursday, underscored the U.S.’s commitment to employing all available tools to hold Iran accountable for its destabilizing actions and pursuit of nuclear weapons that pose a threat to global stability. President Donald Trump, while signing an executive order mandating heightened pressure on Tehran, expressed willingness to explore the possibility of negotiating a deal with Iran. However, he maintained a firm stance against Iran acquiring nuclear weaponry, vowing to prevent such an outcome.
Trump also conveyed a strong message by instructing his advisors to respond forcefully if Iran were to pose any threats to his safety. Meanwhile, Iranian officials have hinted at their readiness to engage in negotiations regarding their nuclear program, contingent upon a clear signal from the Trump administration.
