Ingredients

Iced Tea
– 3 black tea tea bags or 3 tbsp. loose black tea
– 3 cups hot water (approximately 205°F)
– Ice
– 2 tsp. demerara sugar or cane sugar

Lemonade
– 2 cups water
– 6 oz. fresh lemon juice (equivalent to about 4 lemons)
– 6 oz. simple syrup

Assembly
– Ice
– 3 oz. vodka
– Sliced lemon and fresh mint sprigs for serving

Directions

Iced Tea
1. In a medium pot over medium heat, brew the tea bags or loose black tea with hot water until infused, which takes around 3 to 4 minutes.
2. Strain the tea into a small pitcher filled with ice.
3. Add sugar, stir well to combine, and add more ice if necessary.
4. Refrigerate the tea mixture until ready to use.

Lemonade
1. In another pitcher or a large measuring cup, stir together water, lemon juice, and simple syrup until fully combined.
2. Refrigerate the lemonade mixture until ready to use.

Assembly
1. Fill two chilled highball or rocks glasses halfway with ice.
2. Pour vodka over the ice in each glass.
3. Add 3 ounces of lemonade to each glass, then slowly pour in 3 ounces of iced tea to create a layered effect.
