Paige DeSorbo is confronting the swirling rumors around her past relationship head-on. The star of Summer House is setting the record straight on the accusations of infidelity that have arisen following her highly publicized split with Southern Charm’s Craig Conover, dissecting one of the most talked-about breakups in Bravo history and presenting her perspective.
Since DeSorbo disclosed her separation from Conover on the Giggly Squad podcast she co-hosts with former Summer House star Hannah Berner, she has maintained a mostly reserved stance on the matter. Meanwhile, speculations concerning her faithfulness in the relationship have gained momentum online. The situation was exacerbated by Austen Kroll, Conover’s co-star on Southern Charm, who hinted at DeSorbo already “moving on” with someone else during a recent installment of Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen.
On the most recent episode of Giggly Squad, DeSorbo decisively put an end to the speculations. “I never, throughout the three years I was with my ex-boyfriend, physically or emotionally cheated on him,” DeSorbo shared with her audience. “Can you cheat on someone mentally? I’m not sure, but in my case, I did not.”

She proceeded to outline the timeline of their breakup. Essentially, the couple parted ways around Thanksgiving, and at Conover’s request, they kept it under wraps while he promoted the latest season of Southern Charm. “Craig then proceeded to participate in Southern Charm press, doing what he needed to do, all the while acting as if we were still together,” she revealed on the podcast. “I granted him permission to do so. He was processing things in his own manner. Christmas came and went.”
However, after he started to portray himself as single, DeSorbo felt it was time to make their split public. She reached out to him via text (which went unanswered) before announcing the breakup on her podcast in December. “And then the narrative swiftly shifted to claims that I had cheated, that I had ended the relationship just a week before the podcast, and that I had swiftly moved on with someone new,” she stated on the episode.
“Let me make it crystal clear here and now—I did not move on with someone new,” she emphasized. “I am unattached. I do not have a new boyfriend. I did not cheat on my ex-boyfriend. A complete month passed after our breakup, and I remained silent.”
