Task Force Takes On Antisemitism in US Schools and Campuses!

The U.S. Justice Department has established a multi-agency task force to combat antisemitism, with its primary focus on addressing antisemitic harassment in schools and universities. This initiative comes after President Donald Trump issued an executive order last week regarding pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses. The order included warnings of deportation for those participating in protests and directed actions against individuals deemed as “Hamas sympathizers.” Civil rights groups have noted an increase in hate crimes targeting Jews, Muslims, Arabs, and individuals of Middle Eastern descent. The task force, comprised of representatives from various government departments, will be coordinated by the Justice Department’s civil rights division. The Council on American-Islamic Relations plans to monitor the task force’s actions for potential legal challenges.
