It will be a nearly week-long extravaganza featuring non-stop entertainment leading up to the highly anticipated showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. As the Chiefs and Eagles prepare for their championship rematch, New Orleans will transform into a hub for star-studded concerts, exclusive parties, a comedy show, and guest lists packed with A-listers. From Post Malone and Cardi B to Shaquille O’Neal, the city will be buzzing well before Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs aim for a historic three-peat.
“It’s going to be a unique and fun experience, unlike other Super Bowls,” said Shaquille O’Neal, who will headline his popular carnival-themed event, Shaq’s Fun House, on Friday night. For a starting price of $199, attendees can join the NBA legend for an over-the-top festival featuring performances from Ludacris, John Summit, and O’Neal himself under his DJ alter ego, DJ Diesel. The event promises attractions such as a Ferris wheel, circus performers, and a premium bar. This week will hold special significance for O’Neal, who played college basketball at Louisiana State University and frequents Louisiana throughout the year.
Flavor Flav is also set to uplift spirits in New Orleans following a recent tragedy, with a performance at Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate alongside Diplo and Cowboy Mouth on Sunday afternoon. The event offers free general admission, with paid upgrades available for $49.99 and VIP tickets for $349. “I’m hitting the turntables to make people dance and enjoy themselves,” shared Flav.
