McConnell Reveals Explosive Conflicts with Trump Candid Relationship!

In a recent interview on CBS’s “60 Minutes,” former Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell from Kentucky spoke about his relationship with President Trump during the latter’s first term in office. McConnell acknowledged that they had candid discussions, although reports suggested they engaged in heated arguments. When asked about Trump’s public criticism of him, McConnell chose not to respond in kind. He also addressed comments made in a recent biography where he described Trump as “nasty” and a “sleazeball,” stating that those were private remarks. Despite their past interactions, McConnell expressed disappointment in Trump’s pardons of individuals involved in the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol and mentioned that he has not spoken with Trump for quite some time. McConnell emphasized his view of the event as an insurrection and criticized the pardons as a mistake.
