College students pretend to be ICE agents in dorm prank, cops not amused!

Three Temple University students pretended to be fake federal immigration agents at the Philadelphia campus over the weekend. Authorities and school officials did not find the prank amusing. One of the students, identified as 22-year-old Aidan Steigelmann by Fox affiliate WTXF-TV News, was charged with impersonating a public servant and suspended from the university. The other two students involved are currently under investigation. The university stated that impersonating law enforcement officers is a serious offense and will not be tolerated. The Philadelphia Police Department and Temple University Police promptly responded to the incidents and launched a criminal investigation. The students, wearing shirts labeled “Police” and “ICE,” were seen on campus around 10 p.m. Saturday, attempting to enter a dormitory before being stopped by authorities. The whereabouts of the other two students remain uncertain. Temple University expressed disappointment over the incident, emphasizing that no legitimate ICE activity has occurred on campus.
