Order Enforced to Prevent Planned Crimes!

In response to escalating concerns regarding the presence of individuals carrying “offensive weapons” or suspected of planning criminal activities in specific areas, Merseyside Police has been granted additional authority in three neighborhoods within Liverpool. The areas of Walton, Vauxhall, and Kirkdale have been designated for heightened police intervention through enhanced stop and search powers as part of a Section 60 Order implemented on Sunday, scheduled to remain in effect until 18:00 GMT on Monday.

Chief Inspector Martin Mannion emphasized the purpose of this proactive measure, stating, “Our officers are committed to providing a strong and visible police presence to instill confidence within the local communities, particularly in response to recent incidents of criminal behavior and violence.”

Residents in the affected neighborhoods are encouraged to stay informed and vigilant during this period of heightened police activity.
