Diddy’s Lawyers Prosecution ‘Sexist and Puritanical’!

A recent court filing from Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team asserts that videos of alleged “freak offs” demonstrate that the encounters were consensual, and criticizes the prosecution against the music mogul as “sexist and puritanical.” Combs’ legal representatives are calling for the government to provide copies of the videos referenced in the indictment against the Bad Boy Records founder to the defense.

The filing rebutted the prosecution’s claims, stating, “There are no secret cameras, no orgies, no other celebrities involved, no underground tunnels, no minors, and not so much as a hint of coercion or violence.” It emphasized that the videos depict adults engaging in consensual sexual activity.

Combs currently faces federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, stemming from an indictment in September 2024. He has pleaded not guilty to these charges.

The core of the indictment revolves around the alleged “freak offs,” which prosecutors describe as “elaborate and produced sex performances” that Combs purportedly pressured others to participate in. Prosecutors allege that male sex workers and women were coerced or forced to partake in these events.

The defense’s recent filing disputes any claims of coercion, asserting that the sexual activity was filmed consensually. Additionally, Combs’ legal team argues that the prosecution’s accusations are rooted in sexism, as they perpetuate stereotypes of female victimhood and lack of agency.

Currently incarcerated in Brooklyn after being denied bail by Judge Arun Subramanian over concerns of potential witness tampering, Combs awaits his trial scheduled for May.
