Massive Recall Alert 25,000 Pounds of Taquito Sold at Aldi!

The Universal Product Code (UPC) for the recalled product is 4061459337471, as confirmed by Aldi in a recent news release. The issue came to light when the company informed the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) about a consumer complaint regarding the discovery of a piece of metal in the frozen chicken and cheese taquito product. Additionally, another consumer reported sustaining a dental injury while consuming the same product. Although no further incidents of injury or illness have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product, the FSIS advises individuals who have concerns about potential injury or illness to consult with their healthcare provider.

Customers who have purchased Bestway Sandwiches frozen cheese and chicken taquitos from Aldi are strongly advised against consuming them. It is recommended that these products be disposed of or returned to the store of purchase.

The recalled taquitos were distributed in the following states, as listed by Aldi: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.
