Exclusive Bad Bunny’s Residency in Puerto Rico Thrills Locals!

Puerto Rican reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny is gearing up for a 21-date residency in his homeland following the release of his latest album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.” The residency, aptly named “No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí” (translated as “I Don’t Want to Leave Here”), is inspired by a lyric from his hit song “El Apagón.” The series of concerts will take place at the iconic Coliseo de Puerto Rico.

In keeping with the theme of “Debí,” which showcases a strong sense of Puerto Rican identity, the first nine shows of the residency will be exclusive to residents of the island. These special concerts will run from July 11 to July 27, taking place over weekends from Friday to Sunday, with the final performance scheduled for August 24.

The Coliseo de Puerto Rico, where the residency will be held, holds significant cultural and economic importance for local communities and businesses on the island. Bad Bunny has described “Debí” as his most Puerto Rican album yet, featuring passionate lyrics addressing the ongoing political issues in Puerto Rico, particularly focusing on the pressing matter of gentrification. The album, released on January 5, made a strong debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking Bad Bunny’s seventh top 10-charting album.

Tickets for the first nine shows, exclusively for residents, will go on sale on January 15 at 10 a.m. AST (Atlantic Standard Time) and can only be purchased in person at select locations in Puerto Rico. Registration for shows starting August 1 will open on Monday and close on January 14 at 11:59 p.m. AST, offering fans the opportunity to receive a pre-sale code. Pre-sale for registered fans with a code is set to kick off on January 17 at 10 a.m. AST.

The residency, produced by Bad Bunny’s manager Noah Assad’s Move Concerts, will also offer VIP concert and hotel packages. These exclusive experiences include a two-night hotel stay, premium tickets with priority entry to the concert, limited edition VIP gift bags, access to the “Bad Bunny VIP Experience,” and more. Fans will be able to purchase these packages through Vibee starting on January 15 at 10 a.m. AST.
