Tourist Kills Bystander with Fire Extinguisher in Florida Hotel!

In Florida, a tourist has been arrested and charged with murder, battery, and other offenses for allegedly killing a bystander with a fire extinguisher while being evicted from a hotel. The incident occurred at a Quality Inn in Kissimmee, located about 20 miles south of Orlando. On January 10, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a man on January 8 following a 911 call reporting a violent altercation involving a fire extinguisher. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Piero Estefano But-Castillo, was found by deputies beating 55-year-old Robert Krusinowski. But-Castillo, a Chilean national, was reportedly upset after being asked to leave the hotel, and Krusinowski was attempting to calm him down. Despite Krusinowski’s efforts to de-escalate the situation, But-Castillo viciously attacked him with the fire extinguisher, resulting in Krusinowski’s death.

Court documents reveal that But-Castillo also caused property damage at the hotel and assaulted hotel staff. The brutal incident was partially captured on video by another hotel resident. Krusinowski, a long-time resident who assisted with property maintenance, suffered severe head injuries and ultimately succumbed to his wounds at the scene. But-Castillo, who had entered the U.S. from Chile on a tourist visa, is currently being held at the Osceola County Jail without bond and faces charges including first-degree murder, resisting arrest, battery, and criminal mischief.

Sheriff Marcos Lopez emphasized the importance of contacting law enforcement rather than intervening in volatile situations. The investigation is ongoing, with the Sheriff’s Office collaborating with Chilean authorities to gather more information about But-Castillo.

People become angry and lose their tempers, and it is often difficult to discern whether their behavior is influenced by psychosis or substance use. Tragically, in this particular instance, the victim paid the ultimate price with his life. This information was sourced from the original article on People.
