Osteopath’s Shocking Surveillance of Female Students Unveiled in Court!

Torben Hersborg, a celebrity osteopath known for treating high-profile athletes such as Christine Ohuruogu and Caroline Wozniacki, has pleaded guilty to voyeurism charges after being caught filming female university students at a halls of residence in Islington, north London. The 63-year-old was apprehended near the scene with a camera, telescope, and black bin liners in his possession.

During a court hearing, it was revealed that Hersborg had spent three nights secretly recording young women undressing. Police investigations uncovered 60 videos of female university students filmed over the course of four years. The osteopath confessed to three charges of observing individuals engaging in private acts for his own sexual gratification on December 10, 14, and 21 of the previous year.

Hersborg, a married father of one, was set to be sentenced at Highbury Corner magistrates’ court, but the proceedings were postponed to January 30 to allow authorities to further examine evidence against him. Despite his admission of guilt, Hersborg maintains his license as an osteopath according to the General Osteopathic Council and has cooperated with the police during their investigation.

The court was informed that Hersborg was identified through his distinctive vehicle, which was reported to authorities for suspicious activity on multiple occasions. Prosecutors also mentioned the search for another individual believed to have colluded with Hersborg in his voyeuristic activities.

Originally from Denmark, Hersborg is the founder of the Central London Osteopathy and Sports Clinic, located in Old Street. The clinic, which he operates with his wife, boasts a clientele that includes notable personalities such as the Marchioness of Bath Emma Thynn and actress Anna Friel. Hersborg’s social media presence showcased interactions with celebrities like Fearne Cotton, Mark Rylance, Ronnie Wood, and Zharnel Hughes.

Notably, Hersborg is closely acquainted with actor Mads Mikkelsen, known for his role as Bond villain Le Chiffre in Casino Royale. Despite the scandal surrounding him, Hersborg remains a figure in the industry, touting his expertise and trustworthiness, particularly among Olympians.

As the legal proceedings continue, Hersborg remains in custody, wearing a prison-issued grey tracksuit. The case has attracted attention due to the high-profile nature of the individuals involved and the violation of privacy that has occurred.
