“I believe it was around two months after giving birth when (Meghan) sent me a text asking, ‘Would you like to be in my show?'” Kaling recounted to Zuri Hall on Jan. 5. “Whenever you spend time with Meghan, you can always count on the food being top-notch,” the former “Office” star added. “I thought, ‘I’ll visit Montecito, have you whip up some delicious dishes for me, and we can explore your garden,’ and that’s exactly what we did.”
During the Golden Globes red carpet event, Kaling shared with Deadline her admiration for Meghan’s culinary skills, noting that they exceeded her expectations. She praised Meghan’s cooking as “approachable” and easy to replicate.
Kaling mentioned that she did not have the opportunity to taste any of Prince Harry’s culinary creations, but she acknowledged that she had heard positive reviews about his skills in the kitchen. “He seems quite adept at cooking,” she remarked.
In 2022, Kaling made a guest appearance on Meghan’s podcast, “Archetypes,” where Meghan lauded Kaling for her authenticity, wit, and humor.
Meghan’s show, “With Love, Meghan,” is set to premiere on Netflix on Jan. 15, featuring a total of eight episodes, each running for 33 minutes. The series, produced by Meghan, promises to redefine lifestyle programming by blending practical advice with intimate conversations with both familiar and new faces.
