Cocaine packages valued at £2m were discovered hidden under a seat on a plane that arrived in Essex from northern France. Two individuals were arrested after 30kg of the Class A drug was located on the aircraft. Border Force officers monitored the plane’s journey before it landed at North Weald Airfield near Epping on Thursday. The arrested men, aged 52 from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, and 48 from Lewisham, south London, were taken into custody for questioning by the National Crime Agency.
