A 13-year-old girl in England has been charged with the murder of a woman. The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is also facing charges of arson with intent to endanger life. The arrest came after the discovery of a body in a house on Newcomen Road at 3 am. The victim is believed to be Marta Bednarczyk, a 43-year-old mother of three. A forensic post-mortem examination revealed that the cause of death was sharp force injury. Police and fire department responded to reports of a fire at the house where Bednarczyk’s body was found. The girl is scheduled to appear in court on March 12. Detective Chief Inspector Johnny Campbell thanked the officers and staff involved in the investigation and expressed condolences to Marta’s family. No further comments will be made at this time.
