Residents found 39 brick-shaped packages, each containing 1 kilogram of cocaine, on the beaches between Sydney and Newcastle.
Police officers arriving at the scene confiscated the packages, which will be subject to forensic examination.
Police officials noted that the amount of cocaine found on the beaches in the last week reached 124 kilograms.
Authorities asked citizens to inform the authorities if they see similar packages and not to open them.
