“Incredible Survival: Boy Survives Being Struck by Falling Tree”
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for 12-year-old Kyle Murray, who suffered severe injuries in New Hampshire when a tree fell on him while he was walking home from school. The incident occurred during a wind storm on North Main Street in Boscawen on March 7, as reported by the Boscawen Police Department. Kyle is currently in a medically induced coma due to the major injuries he sustained.
Chief Jason Killary of the Boscawen Police Department mentioned that there is not much additional information available about the incident, but he has heard that the boy is showing signs of improvement. Kyle’s mother, Danielle, recounted how a fellow bus rider informed her of the accident when Kyle was pinned under the fallen tree, barely breathing and unresponsive.
Emergency responders had to use a hydraulic rescue tool to remove the tree because of its size. After being initially taken to Concord Hospital, Kyle was later transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital in critical condition. A fundraiser on GoFundMe has been launched to help support the family as Kyle faces multiple injuries including brain bleeds, fractures, and other serious conditions that will require surgeries and therapy.
Despite the challenges, there has been some progress in Kyle’s recovery. According to an update from Danielle on the fundraiser page, Kyle has started to regain some movement and communication abilities. He was able to reach out for a hug and kiss, showing signs of recognition and comfort. The family remains hopeful for Kyle’s continued improvement and expresses gratitude for the support received during this difficult time.
