The NBA announced Monday afternoon that the Knicks have been fined $25,000 for violating the league's injury reporting rules.

According to the league, the Knicks "failed to accurately disclose Mitchell Robinson's availability prior to the March 27 game against the Toronto Raptors."

The league noted that Robinson was listed as "out" on the Knicks' initial injury report but eventually started playing in the game.

Robinson had missed 50 games with an ankle injury and was upgraded from "out" to "questionable" on the morning of March 27 after returning to practice a few days earlier.

In his return that night, Robinson played 12 minutes and scored eight points with two rebounds and two blocks.
