MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, announced yesterday that an alligator was seen next to a landed airplane and was carefully captured by officers.
"An alligator came onto the runway at MacDill Air Force Base. The alligator was captured by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and released into the river in Hillsborough. Our newest geared aviator (alligator) was placed in a more suitable environment off base. Special thanks to the FWC for their assistance."
